Numerical study of extreme events and chaos in a laser diode with phase-conjugate feedback

Résumé

A model adapted from the Lang-Kobayashi equations is used to qualitatively reproduce experimental dynamics observed in a laser diode with phase-conjugate feedback, such as extreme events (rogue waves) and chaotic low-frequency fluctuations.
