Design approach of an axial flux motor for electrical powertrain vehicle
Résumé
In this paper, an axial flux motor is designed for an electrical powertrain vehicle. The sizing is based on the losses during a driving cycle. A 2D equivalent model is proposed for the axial flux motor. The main features of the optimized motor are given and finally verification is carried out using a 3D finite element calculation code.
